Benefits of Gingers.

Ginger rhizome is an edible, aromatic herb, widely used today. The origin is not entirely clear, the available sources mention China, later India. Ginger reached the Middle East across the sea, and in a similar way, ginger spread to the European continent, Africa, and South America. The truth is that ginger has spread all over the world, precisely because of its very specific spicy taste and its traditional use has lasted for several thousand years.

The aromatic substances zingiberene and bisabolene are contained in ginger oil and give the ginger an aroma. Behind the pungent sharp taste, we can find the chemical substance gingerol, which has similar properties to capsaicin, known in chili peppers and hot peppers. Heat treatment turns the pungency into an odor used in the food and chemical industries.

Pink ginger is popular, especially in Asian cuisine, but it is dyed with a synthetic dye made of coal tar. This substance is banned in many countries. You really need to be attentive and read the composition of the product well (!) When buying. Harmful dyes can only be avoided if they are well known. We can load ginger at home. We can use beets as a dye and thus achieve a much healthier result.

Ginger can be used as a prevention against cancer, blood clots act against dizziness. It can help with early nausea in early pregnancy, is an excellent antioxidant, and has anti-inflammatory effects. It is also used for physical exhaustion and loss of appetite. Prepare ginger infusion from 2 g of rhizome and 0.5 l of water and drink after meals. We must not exceed this amount!

Ginger as a medicinal food helps with common and civilizational diseases and as such must be taken with regard to the age of the organism and the type of disease. As a prevention, we can use ginger in the form of tea against colds and colds, dry matter as an addition to baking and spices for cold and hot (salty and sweet) cuisine.

Ginger is one of the seasonings and spices and as such has its drawbacks. Its oils and aromatic substances can irritate the body, both mucous membranes and internal organs. Consideration should be given to replacing ginger - in the case of cooking - with other, less irritating spices. In the case of ginger, the taste can be replaced by thyme, tarragon, basil, and rosemary.

Each herb has its own specific treatment. Failure to follow the procedure may result in the opposite effect. Some herbs become bitter during long cooking and then spoil the whole impression, taste, and aroma of the prepared food. Ginger can be found in grocery stores such as ice cream, lemonade, and alcohol. As can be seen, everything that grows can be used for health or healing, or it can be abused. God has given us reason at a much higher level than other created beings on earth. If we use reason as intended by the Creator, we can experience harmony, health, and happiness throughout our lives.
